Low Leaded Bronze

Silicon Red Brass is a lead-free special brass alloy that complies with ELV and RoHS standards. It is designed to withstand high mechanical loads while providing excellent corrosion resistance and superior machinability.

This alloy is well suited for the production of machined components and drop-forged parts. ECOBRASS is available in machining brass grades as well as hot-stamping quality, making it adaptable for various manufacturing processes.

The material is also marketed under the name CUPHIN for sanitary applications. It complies with ISO 6509 requirements for dezincification resistance, ensuring durability in demanding environments. Additionally, the alloy is approved for products that come into contact with drinking water, according to the 4MS positive list.
